How an order runs

From the first email to the box on your dock, with the dates you can plan around.

  1. Tell us the size and count

Pan size, sheet count, plain or printed. One message is enough; a photo of your current paper helps.

  2. Written quote in one business day

Price per sheet or roll, delivery date and artwork notes in one email you can forward to whoever signs.

  3. Free proof, then we cut

Printed jobs get a proof to approve first. Production takes 4 to 6 business days after you approve it.

  4. Free tracked US delivery

Boxed flat or on the roll and delivered to any US address in 2 to 3 business days, with the tracking number sent the day it ships.

Why parchment in a working kitchen?

Parchment does three things a bare pan cannot. It releases the bake without fat and keeps the pan clean between batches. It also carries a sheet of cookies from the pan to the rack in one move.

In a convection oven at 450°F a silicone-coated sheet holds flat and keeps its release through a full shift. Quilon-coated sheets do the same job to 420°F at lower cost, which is why most bread and pastry runs on them.

The savings show up at the dish pit and on the schedule. A lined sheet pan goes back into rotation with a wipe. An unlined one soaks, and somebody scrubs it.

Release matters most on sugar and cheese. Caramel, meringue and a cheese crisp weld themselves to bare steel, then lift off a silicone-coated sheet with a nudge.

A meal-prep kitchen lining sixty pans a shift notices the difference first. The paper takes the mess, the pans stay flat because they are never scraped, and the line keeps moving.

Parchment is grease-resistant, not fireproof. Keep it off the broiler, away from the elements and under the limit of the stock, and it does nothing surprising. Parchment temperature limits by coating has the numbers for each finish.

Bleached or unbleached, and what printing looks like on each

Unbleached parchment is the color of a kraft bag, with no chlorine bleaching in the pulp. It suits a bakery whose paper should look like the loaf: under sourdough, around a galette, lining a wooden display crate.

Bleached white parchment is the clean sheet. Pastry cases, macaron boxes and catering platters look sharper on white, and it is the stock for any logo in more than one color.

Printing on unbleached: one color, dark. Black, deep red, navy or forest green sit into the fiber and look stamped. Two colors on kraft go muddy, and pastels vanish.

Printing on white: up to 4 colors with Pantone solid-coated matches, so a brand orange is the same orange on every sheet. Fine type and thin line work hold on white in a way they never do on kraft.

Our opinion, for what it is worth: a kraft wrap with one black mark looks like a deli that has been there for decades. The same logo in four colors on kraft looks like a mistake, so we steer those jobs to white.

Unbleached (kraft-tone)Natural brown, slightly mottledOne dark colorTo 420°F
Bleached whiteClean white, even surface1 to 4 colors, Pantone matchesTo 420°F on Quilon, 450°F on silicone

Both stocks take the same coatings, so choosing a color does not change the heat limit or the release. Printing a logo on parchment shows what each stock does with real artwork.

How are sizes chosen against the pan?

Start with the pan floor, not the rim. A half sheet pan is 18 by 13 in at the lip, but the flat floor takes a 12 by 16 in sheet. Cut to the floor and the paper lies flat; cut to the lip and it rides up the wall and browns.

Quarter sheet pans take 9 by 13 in, full pans 16 by 24 in, or 18 by 26 in edge to edge. Round pans take a round of the nominal pan size: 9 in for a 9 in pan.

Rounds are measured across the floor too, since most cake pans flare a little at the lip. A 9 in round drops into a 9 in pan; a 9.5 in round climbs the wall. Custom diameters are cut the same way, from the measurement you send.

Liners for brownie and bar pans are cut with notched corners so the sides fold up and the whole slab lifts out by the paper. Air fryer liners run about 1 in under the basket floor so air still moves.

Rolls are chosen by width. Match the roll to the short side of your largest pan and tear to length; a 15 in roll covers a half sheet pan with no trim. If none of these match your pans, send the measurement and we cut to it. The sheet size by pan chart lists the common pans with the cut for each.

How does ordering work the first time?

Nothing on this site takes a card. You tell us what you need, we write a quote, and you pay by invoice after you approve the quote and any proof.

  1. Send the pan size or the sheet size, plain or printed, and a rough monthly count. A photo of the paper you use now is enough to start.
  2. A written quote lands in your inbox inside one business day. It carries the per-sheet or per-roll figure, the case count and the delivery date.
  3. Printed jobs get a free design proof. Edit it as many times as you like before you approve.
  4. Cutting and printing take 4 to 6 business days once you approve.
  5. Delivery is free and tracked to any US address in 2 to 3 business days, with the tracking number sent the day it ships.

The minimum is 1,000 sheets, rounds, liners or pouches, or 1 roll. If a case arrives damaged or misprinted, send photos within 10 days and we reprint it or refund it.

Repeat orders skip most of this. Give us the earlier quote number, confirm the count, and the same paper ships on the same timeline without a new proof.

Phone (503) 461-4788 Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern, or message us on WhatsApp. You can also send the quote form at any hour and we answer on the next business day.

Questions before you order

What bakeries and kitchens ask before a first order. Type a word to filter the cards, or open one to read the full answer.

What is parchment paper made of?

Paper pulp pressed into a dense sheet and finished with a silicone or Quilon coating for release. Unbleached parchment keeps the kraft tone; bleached parchment is white.

Is parchment paper the same as wax paper?

No. Wax paper melts and smokes in an oven, while parchment takes 420°F to 450°F (typical). Use wax paper for cold wrapping only.

Can I order parchment paper without a logo on it?

Yes. Every sheet, roll, round and liner is sold plain as well as printed. Plain orders skip the proof stage and go straight to cutting.

Where do I send my pan sizes for a parchment quote?

By phone, by WhatsApp or through the contact page form, with the size, the count and plain or printed. The written quote follows inside one business day.

What is the smallest parchment order you take?

1,000 sheets, rounds, liners or pouches of one size, or 1 roll. Smaller counts are not worth the setup for either of us.

How long from a parchment order to delivery?

About two weeks at the outside: one business day for the quote, 4 to 6 business days of production after approval, and 2 to 3 business days in transit.

Do you charge for shipping parchment within the US?

No. Tracked delivery is free to any US address, boxed flat or on the roll.

What happens if my parchment arrives damaged?

Report it within 10 days with photos and we reprint or refund. Keep the case so we can check the packing.

Which coating should I ask for if I do not know?

Tell us what goes on the sheet and the oven temperature. Silicone for sticky or 450°F work, Quilon for everyday bread and pastry, unbleached when the look matters.

Can parchment paper go under a broiler?

No. Parchment is not made for broilers, open flames or contact with heating elements. Oven baking under the limit of the stock only.

Do I pay before or after the quote?

After. You approve the quote and the proof, then pay by invoice. There is no card step on the website.

Can a sheet of parchment be used twice?

A silicone-coated sheet can go 2 to 3 bakes of dry goods. Quilon sheets are single use, and any sheet that soaked up grease or sugar should go.

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp or call (503) 461-4788.

Not sure which parchment? Tell us what you bake

Send the parchment, a size and a quantity, plus a logo if you have one. We reply in writing within one business day with a price and a free design proof. Prefer to talk? Call (503) 461-4788 or message us on WhatsApp.
